The goal of this collaboration is to continue questioning the conceptual underpinnings of our understanding of design and the visual arts. Loïc Le Gaillard, the co-founder of Carpenters Workshop Gallery, explained, “In showcasing important works of functional art and collectable design alongside seminal paintings from Christie’s we hope to contribute to the evolving dialogue and blurred boundaries between art and design.” Artists featured include works by Nacho Carbonell, Aldo Bakker, Vincent Dubourg, Roger Herman, Wendell Castle, Atelier Van Lieshout, Kendell Geers, DRIFT, Robert Stadler, Pierre Jeanneret and Mathieu Lehanneur.
