Alice Cicolini

For Carpenters Workshop Gallery, Cicolini has created Totem, a collection inspired by her enduring interest in the work of Ettore Sottsass, and the colours and tones of Eileen Gray’s lacquer screens. Sottsass’ ceramic pieces in particular draw on similar themes of ritual and sacred architecture.
