Anna Castelli Ferreri

Following her graduation, she worked as an editor of the architecture magazine, Costruzioni from 1946 to 1947. Castelli Ferrieri married chemical engineer Giulio Castelli (1920-2006), and together they founded the furniture company Kartell in 1949. She laid Kartell’s foundation and its signature mode in geometric shapes, bold color, highly polished finishes, and the use of plastic.
