With an instinct for intriguing materialities, Anton combines the familiar with the unexpected. Often minimal and geometric in form, his objects reflect a substantial knowledge of material properties. Balancing different techniques, his experimental approach leads to surprising results.

For example, the project Self Reflect allows us to observe ourselves in everyday life, similar to Caravaggio’s painting of Narcissus. Through extensive research, Anton explored the material properties of stainless steel. His quest resulted in gradual reflectiveness and fluid colours in the material, echoing the romantic atmosphere of Caravaggio’s painting.
