The San Francisco Pop-Up underscores Carpenters’ commitment to developing the West Coast collectible design market, after debuting at FOG Art + Design earlier this year. As San Francisco’s international collecting market continues to burgeon, Carpenters Workshop Gallery strives to elevate its understanding and appreciation of functional art.
836M Gallery in and of itself is a design phenomenon breaching the gap between office space, art gallery, dance studio, theater, and reception area, to name a few. An innovative non-profit gallery that combines artistic excellence with philanthropic impact, 836M hosts a thought provoking selection of artists, events, and moments. The gallery founders believe that by experiencing the arts together, we can share new ideas, create a community, and broaden our social awareness. 836M Gallery seeks to contribute to the ethos of San Francisco in three distinct forms of artistic expression: a free street-front gallery offering exclusive art to the public, a dedicated space for evolving street artists, and documentary films.
“We are thrilled to welcome Carpenters Workshop Gallery to San Francisco. By reflecting the global scope of contemporary art, this collaboration is the perfect example of creating an open context that will stimulate thought and conversation. With West Coast’s burgeoning international collecting market, we hope this special San Francisco Pop-Up will broaden social awareness within and outside the local community.” Julie Lepinard, co-Founder of 836M Gallery.
