The Campana Brothers appropriate everyday materials in their work, often collaborating with local Brazilian communities and factories to inspire their signature blend of ergonomic industrial design. In Ofidia Mirror, a loose formation of bronze ropes loop around each other, with custom fitted mirrors filling the spaces between. Cast in a trompe l’oeil style, the mirror pairs conceptual simplicity with a visually charismatic design.

Artist Biography

Co-founded in 1984 by brothers Fernando (1961–2022) and Humberto (1953) Campana, the Campana studio has gained international recognition for its innovative furniture and experimental design. Celebrated as a pioneer of disruptive design, the studio has established a groundbreaking visual language and, over four decades of practice, continues to shape the field.
