Carlo Mollino is an Italian architect, designer and photographer. His independent wealth allowed him to pick and choose projects, resulting in an oeuvre of unique, often site-specific works and never manufactured for the general public. In the 1950’s, he began to use new materials like vinyl and enameled steel and took a modernist turn in his designs. For the Lutrario Ballroom, a famous dancing in Turin, Italy, he designed this set of stool with specific attention to the structure supporting the seat.
