Charlotte Perriand & Jean Prouvé Brazza Cupboards with Two Doors Called BB

Charlotte Perriand creates functional living spaces following the idea that better design helps create a better society. This cabinet, called Brazza Cupboards, is a work made for the Air France housing unit in Congo Brazzaville. Perriand has collaborated with Jean Prouvé to design this innovative concept of an integrated closet made of a removable frame – partly in folded steel sheet, partly in folded aluminum sheet – in which "ironwood" guides are embedded, allowing the diamond-cut aluminum doors to slide.
