Paul Cocksedge’s highly original light sculpture, Light and Shade, is composed of LED sheets suspended in mid-air. Constantly pushing the role of technology in design, the artist intended to impart a sense of malleability to light, a usually intangible substance, to play with the physicality of how it bends, diffuses and scatters.
