The RII Ring Ruby develops Hermien Cassiers’ collection of artworks featuring precious stones supported by an intricate network of architecturally inspired gold links. Caught between two bands of gold, the rubies provide a central focal point around which the gold links revolve.

Artist Biography

Far from traditional jewellery, Hermien Cassiers (Belgium, 1991) studied design at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Art. Inspired by Architecture and Volume, she creates geometrical gold links, craftily intertwined each other.
