The Campana Brothers have achieved international recognition for encouraging new ways of thinking through disruptive pieces that are brimming with surprising personalities. The Ofidia Side Table just does that as it bridges the gap between functional art and design. Featuring carefully arranged rope cast in bronze, the composition forms an organic cluster of twisted shapes at the table surface and base – elongated lengths of bronze stretch between them as if they were pouring through the air.

Artist Biography

Co-founded in 1984 by brothers Fernando (1961–2022) and Humberto (1953) Campana, the Campana studio has gained international recognition for its innovative furniture and experimental design. Celebrated as a pioneer of disruptive design, the studio has established a groundbreaking visual language and, over four decades of practice, continues to shape the field.
