The Blue Totem Band augments Alice Cicolini’s TOTEM collection, combining coloured enamel with 14-carat gold. Cicolini was inspired by Ettore Sottsass’ ceramic artworks when creating her TOTEM series, appreciating the relationship between colour and pattern.

Artist Biography

Alice Cicolini is a British jewellery designer who draws her inspiration from the sacred architecture and patterns of the Silk Route. Her early work used traditional methods of craftsmanship of meenakari enamel and hand carved stone. Her jewellery explores collaboration and juxtaposition, craftsmanship and heritage, colour and pattern, and has been exhibited at the V&A Museum, Somerset House, and Sotheby’s London among others.
