Vincent Dubourg pays homage to traditional craft and techniques such as cabinet-making, glassblowing, wood-bending and metal-casting. Stonehenge Armchair (Part B) exemplifies this approach, a minimal design that treads the line between furniture and sculpture through the natural curvature of bronze and tactile touch of the upholstery.

Artist Biography

Dubourg poetically fuses the crafts of glassblowing, wood-bending, and metal-casting to bring simple forms to life. In Napoleon A Trotinette, the solid form of a bureau is harmoniously combined with the graceful curves of bronze branches.
